State Of Decay

We are living in a constant state of decay
Planets collide shatter and scatter through space
Entropy is a natural state
Everything fades away
It's okay

Rocks don't hate the waterfall
Mountains feel no spite for rain
Rust bears no ill will for iron at all
Ash does not despise the flame

In our existence
The only constant is change
In this instance
Is it really so strange
Something once held close
Is suddenly drifting away
Everything fades to grey
It's okay

Rocks don't hate the waterfall
Mountains feel no spite for rain
Rust bears no ill will for iron at all
Ash does not despise the flame

We are living in a constant state of decay
Planets collide shatter and scatter through space
Entropy is a natural state
Everything fades away
It's okay
