About

Master Updated: 09/17/26 - Punch, Clarity & Harshness - Abrasive Monologues

Art imitates life and I hated my life in a city in Texas. I'm not a city person, never have been. Moving to a big city like that was more than a small adjustment. Aside from all that concrete, wall to wall traffic, dirty air... It was so expensive. Not something I have to do again. The social scene runs on politics which is definitely not my thing. The streets were dirty as hell. I thought about hanging from a light fixture a few times to be honest. Glad I'm out of there.

Lyrics

These tall buildings
Make me dizzy
I can't breathe
For the haze in this city
I can't sleep
For the noise of the race
I can't leave cause I need
The pay

Mash my soul into
the pavement
Hide my bones in a flooded
Basement
All this concrete leaves me
Jaded

But I'm still alive

These tall buildings
Make me dizzy
I can't see the forest
Much less any
Trees
I can't sleep from the
Sound of the race
I can't breathe with
This mask on my face

Mash my soul into
the pavement
Hide my bones in a flooded
Basement
All this concrete leaves me
Jaded

But I'm still alive

Politics, Protests, Useless Bullshit
Tie my noose
Wonder where my money went
Politics, Protests, Useless Bullshit
Hold my breath
Cause the streets are full of it

The tall buildings
Make me dizzy

The tall buildings
Make me dizzy

Mash my soul into
the pavement
Hide my bones in a flooded
Basement
All this concrete leaves me
Jaded

But I'm still alive

These tall buildings
Make me dizzy
I can't see

These tall buildings
Make me dizzy
I can't breathe

These tall buildings
Make me dizzy
I can't see

These tall buildings
Make me dizzy
I can't breathe
