About

When you reach the point where all of your coping mechanisms fail and you realize that no part of you identity is actually yours, you body does a kind of purge... of you. I remember waking up on the floor as nothing, a blank slate that was mine to scaffold. It's a terrifying feeling because at first you feel no draw or pull toward anything. You don't really know what your passionate about when no one is watching. There's a long period like that before you start rebuilding and you look back... And for the first time you're not really griving the hurt, you're grieving the lost time when you could have been a whole person and you didn't get to.

Lyrics

So tired, so cold
It's fast drop of the
System load

Woke up on the floor
In a body so quiet
My quiet thoughts echo

Breathing cause I really
Just don't know how to quit

It's been so many years
But I hear my voice again

And I've been grieving
All the lost days
Since I realized
There's no replay

Damage done
And washed away
But the stains remain
The same

And I've been grieving
All the lost days
Since I realized
There's no replay

Damage done
I walked away
But the stains remain
The same

I got crushed by the frameworks
Closing in

Stuck here
I am my best friend

Breathing cause I
Really just don't know
How to quit...

My soul's been asleep
So long and I don't know
Where it's been

And I've been grieving
All the lost days
Since I realized
There's no replay

Damage done
And washed away
But the stains remain
The same

And I've been grieving
All the lost days
Since I realized
There's no replay

Damage done
I walked away
But the stains remain
The same

Breathing cause I
Really just don't know
How to quit...

I arrived where I was driven

Breathing cause I
Really just don't know
How to quit...

I arrived where I was driven
